Things are similiar here in Australia too. The work seems to be very much feast or famine~depending on where you are. I keep suggesting to my tradies that a good marketing strategy for these quieter times is to go back to your lists of previous clients and send them a snail mail letter to remind them that you are still around and no job is too small ~ or big :-)
