Looking at doing a shower room in my place and have a few Q's if anyone can help please. I am pretty handy when it comes to most things and have the tools and time to do this. I would very much like to do this myself. Though not a complete novice, there are a few things I could use some help with and would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance....
1. Are Q Rock porcelain tiles exclusive to Topps.
2. Is it possible to have underfloor heating with these tiles.
3. Floor area is about 11sqm. Shower head is in the corner of the room so is it necessary to fit a waterproof membrane to whole floor.
4. Can the corner where shower head is be the only part that will require a slight gradient for drainage.
5.
Hi Simon - I trust you are well.
In my experience -
the first thing I need to know from you before total advice can be given is - what are you going over - what sub-strate are you tiling onto?
How old is the concrete - if it is concrete?
Is it all one piece of concrete?
What do you want from your floor - just good looks?
Have you read and considered the Tact Enviro Floor Buyers 10 point plan?
What agegroup will be using this shower room?
Do you want one single wet-room?
